The AUW Library offers Reference Services to assist students, faculty, and staff in locating and using information effectively. Our librarians provide guidance on finding books, journals, databases, and other resources, as well as support for research strategies and citation management.
Institutional Repository

Current Awareness Service (CAS)
The AUW Library provides a Current Awareness Service to keep students, faculty, and staff updated on the latest publications and newly acquired resources. A monthly update is sent via email on the 1st day of each month, highlighting new books, journals, and electronic resources in your field of interest.
Thesis / Internship Report / Summer Project Preservation Service
The AUW Library preserves all theses, internship reports, and summer projects submitted by students. Please send the PDF version of your work to the library email (library@auw.edu.bd). All submissions are stored in the institutional repository for future reference and academic use.
Remote Access Services
The AUW Library provides remote access to subscribed online resources, allowing students, faculty, and staff to use library materials from home or outside the AUW network.To request remote access, please send an email to library@auw.edu.bd.
Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC)
The AUW Library provides an Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) for books. Users can search the catalog by Author, Title, Keyword, or Subject and check the availability status of items.Access the OPAC here: http://opac.auw.edu.bd:8080/
Plagiarism / Similarity Check Service (Turnitin)
Overview: Turnitin is a cloud-based platform that facilitates the submission, originality checking, and grading of student work. It compares digitally submitted papers against academic databases, billions of online pages, and other student submissions to detect similarity and maintain academic integrity. Who Can Use Turnitin: Faculty and Researchers: Permanent academic staff and researchers have instructor licenses for course assessment. Contractual Faculty, Research Assistants, and Teaching Assistants: Access is provided on a semester-by-semester basis. How to Get Access: Faculty: Request instructor access by emailing the University Librarian at aparajita.rahman@auw.edu.bd. Ensure your library account is active before requesting access. Students: Submit work to Turnitin assignments using the Class ID and Enrollment Key provided by your instructor."
